I have the sweetest story to tell, and since I just started printing my blog (more on that later) I definitely want to write this for the books.
Yesterday I was starting on dinner and Jacob took a seat on the bar stool.
He told me he wanted to go back to Florida. I told him Florida is far away and it costs a lot of money.
He asked how much. I said well it could be a thousand dollars or more. He said wow that's a lot, I agreed.
I began to shuck the corn on the cob when I said to him, you know I used to do this when I was a little girl with my Granny. I would sit next to her and we would do this together.
sidenote: my granny passed away 2.5 months before i had jacob. i wish my boys could have met her.
Jacob asked who is my Granny. I said Papaw's momma, you never met her.
He asked if she lived far away. I said well, she lives in heaven.
He asked how much does it cost to go to Heaven?
My eyes immediately filled with tears, and I simply answered, "it's free. The price has been paid."
I thank God for using Jacob's innocence to remind me that..

I love this...so, so sweet. The innocence of a child can just take my breath away sometimes.
What service are you using to print your blog? I'd love to hear how it turns out! I am planning to do the same at some point. :)
The Lord reminds us of HIS word even through children.
