Life Lately

No reason for not blogging.  Haven't been busy, just the same mundane day to day stuff.
Couldn't tell ya the last time I took a pic with our actual camera, so phone pics it is!

With that being said, here is the most random post ever:
And if you follow me on Instagram, you've already seen most of these

During our last snow days, Kris thought it would be the perfect time for a DIY project.
We've been wanting to update our guest bath, and we had the materials, so one cold January day he began.  He's had to work around his work schedule, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I can't wait to share the after photos - hopefully next week!

The boys, well one of them, watching tv in our bed.

The cousins singing "Let it Go" from Frozen.

Someone's been sleeping in my bed... again!

One of the million trips to Lowe's.  Seriously, Kris needs a PT job there!

My dad was in town last week.  He, along with Beth and Luke, surprised Jacob at school and ate lunch with him.

Jacob lost tooth #4.

Thanking our Lord for watching over Levi.  He had his follow-up appointment with the cardiologist to go over the results of his last echo.  His aortic valve does have a tiny bit of leakage and the pressure inside has increase a tad, but he's still considered in the mild range, so they are good with that.  He will continue to get an echo yearly and we trust God that he will watch over our little man.

Mr. Cool waiting on the doctor :)

he is loving his woody boots, as he calls them :)

Can't believe January is almost over!  Say what?!

Blue Times Two

One good thing about having 2 boys is I can get double the wear out of things.

Jacob December 2010
3yrs 9mos

Levi
3yrs 7mos

I will give credit to Jacob for always being a good picture taker at this age.
Lately it's been impossible to get Levi to look at the camera and get a real smile.

I promise you Levi, you will not always wear hand-me downs.
For now, it just makes sense. :)

Staying Busy

A few days after Christmas, we had decent-temperature weather, so Beth asked if I wanted to take the kiddos on a walking trail that led to a waterfall.
sidenote:  the same waterfall where Kris propsed ;)

But once we got there, we saw this sign :(
This was our Walley World moment :(
"Sorry folks.  Park's closed."

Luckily there was another area to walk, just no waterfall.

We walked to the lake

And naturally, kiddos had to throw rocks.

Beth had a couple of extra tickets to the Razorback basketball game, and was nice enough to ask Kris and I to go.

Using the panoramic setting.

We hit up the Chickfila

Then a local thrift store!  My fave!

Stay warm!

Back Tracking...

A few phone pics/videos to note...

It was pajama day at school, and I had to get a picture in front of the big sleigh.

All the first graders had a little Christmas Play.

They made the cutest tshirts with their hand print.  Love!

{Cameron, Jacob and Aidan}
Jacob and Cameron played soccer together, and now they are in Cub Scouts and in the same class.
Jacob and Aidan played tball, and they have been in the same class for Kindergarten & 1st Grade.

This losing teeth business is fun!  Immediately changes his looks!

Henry (our Elf) brought the boys light-up noses.  One night we drove around to look at lights, and they wore their noses in the car.  So funny!

they almost look like they're photoshopped!  ha!

Christmas Eve we went to our church's candlelight service.

New Year's Eve we hung out with friends, and played games.
It was a lot of fun!

Happy New Year!
