Make a Wish

I turned 37 (how this happened I have no idea!) yesterday.

My sister, Beth, was kind enough to watch the boys while Kris & I went out to eat (PF Changs - YUM!)

She even baked me a cake!  Doesn't it look delish?  It was!!
I love Levi's crinkled nose :)

As they say on Duck Dynasty, "thank you Father for another day here on planet earth."

Thanksgiving 2012

Kris had to work on Thanksgiving (boo) so the boys and I drove down to my parents Thanksgiving morning.

I saw this pin and wanted to make them for all the kiddos.  I think they turned out so cute!

And I must confess, Kris made the 2 bonnets for the girls. He's so crafty! :)

Kid table

Even if it is cheesy, I thought Levi's shirt was cute :)
Plus it was $1.20

Later it was the traditionual ride-every-kid-at-once 4wheeler ride :)
don't worry, Papaw drove like 3mph :)

Then I sat the camera on the 4wheeler for a make-shift tripod and took a group photo on the back porch :)
Luke was not having it!

Then we did one with a silly face, but some people didn't get the memo!

I cannot look at this picture without laughing.
Poor Luke wanted his picture made with the book.
But Beth said first one without, hence the frown.

Then she gave in :)

Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from me and my little pilgrims :)
I am forever grateful for the Lord blessing my family in 2012.
We are undeserving of his love and mercies, but he loves us, oh how he loves us.

I will enter his gates with Thanksgiving in my heart.
I will enter his courts with praise.
I will say this is the day that the Lord had made.
I will rejoice for he has made me glad.

Friday Randoms

Yesterday Levi brought home such a sweet keepsake.
i ADORE pieces like this!

I've had to come to a hard realization lately... now that Jacob is wearing size 6 clothes... it's pretty much impossible to find him and Levi matching Christmas pajamas!!  What on earth!?!
How will we survive the season!?!?  :)
Instead, I had to settle for these old-man style pajamas.
When I was helping him button the shirt he asked if it was a jacket :)

Last Saturday was Caleb's 5th birthday.  Melody did the cutest Lego-themed party.
I hate that I don't have any pictures of the birthday boy or decor, it was really cute.
She even made her own pinata in the shape of a 5.  So cute!
I saw this pin on Pinterest and thought it would be neat to make.
I must say, Kris my assistant did about 75% and the rest was me :)

Don't tell my nephew Luke that he's getting one for Christmas :)
Speaking of Lukey, he spent the night with us last Friday.
Found that little monkey like this!
he told me I can't call him monkey anymore :(

Kris was in a wedding last Saturday and they got married on our local minor league's field.
yes, the bride wore red

It was very neat and different to say the least :)
(They are huge baseball fans)
Here is my handsome date sitting in his favorite number :)

The bride made the cake herself, very cute!

Happy weekend!

Levi's Thanksgiving Program

Today was Levi's Thanksgiving program at his school.
can you spot my little indian.  he's the only one sitting :)

He really didn't do anything other than stand up there (which I'm surprised he did) and clapped when the songs were over :)

I could not get him to crack a smile for anything!

Love you little cherub.

Levi's School Picture

Our scanner is once again not cooperating, so this is a picture of a picture.

But still cute nonetheless.  :)
Anyone wanna play the caption game, and tell me what he's thinking?  :)

Halloween Video

I think the boys had just as much fun handing out candy as they did trick-or-treating.
Towards the end, Jacob was so generous, he would tell the kiddos to pick out what they wanted.
And surprisingly, most kids just picked one piece.

Here is a short video of them having fun.
A few things worth mentioning:
1).  That is Levi in the very beginning say, "hellllooooooooo!"  So funny!
2).  He also says an affirmative, "here!" when passing out his candy.  Makes me laugh!
3).  He waves bye and mumbles a phrase afterwards that ends in the word too.  That is his version of, "I love you too."
Is that not the funniest thing?!  :)

Our God is Greater

Our church was lucky to host a Chris Tomlin concert last Thursday night.

When I first heard (months ago) that he was coming, I jumped at the chance to get tickets!
We were in the general admission section, so as soon as the doors opened, we sprinted to the front and got seats on the 2nd row ;)

Here are some not-so-great phone pictures.
I love his music, but if I had to narrow it down to two that bless me so, I would pick:

1).  Glory in the Highest

I told my friend Melody, who was there also, that if he sings Glory in the Highest I will lose it!
Well he sang for almost 2 hours, but unfortunatley, he did not sing G.I.T.H.  I wanted so badly to shout it out to him, I mean afterall, surely he would hear/see me from the 2nd row and oblige ;)

2).  I will Rise

When I heard this for the first time, my initial thought was, "if I could sing, this would be my song of choice to sing in church."  My solo if you will :)

Well lucky me, he did sing this, and I went straight into the ugly cry.  I was a mess.
I could not believe that I was standing so close to Chris Tomlin listening to him sing one of my favorite songs ever.  I soaked it all in and then some.  The Lord blessed me ten fold.

If he is ever in your area, I highly recommend going to see him.  You will not be disappointed.

And thank you Meme for watching the boys for us!
