Levi's Last Day at School

Can't forget my sweet Levi.  His last day at MDO was last week, too.

He quit the passy when he turned 2.

We recently put him in a big-boy bed.

And he's 100% potty trained. 

 

There's nothing left that resembles a baby lives here. 

Pass me a tissue.  :(

Hello Summer!

I saw this idea on Pinterest (do you get tired of hearing me say that?) and wanted to do it for Jacob when he came home from school on his last day.

 

Here he comes!

 

It was also hat day, which I think changes his look.

I love this picture.  From the bus leaving, to him seeing the sign for the first time.

 

Yea, you did it!

 

Even though it took longer to make and hang the sign, having him see it for those couple of minutes made it all worth it.  A little memory I hope is now etched in his mind. :)

 

Afterwards we went over to Beth's house to celebrate with my niece Kate and a couple of other kiddos who finished kindergarten as well.  Beth made this rainbow cake.

 

Isn't it cute?  A big hit with the kiddos!  Tasted delish too!

 

We officially have a first grader on our hands!

 

Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony!

Last week was Jacob's kindergarten graduation ceremony. 

We waved and waved, but could never catch his eye, so he sat through most of it (even during the singing) like this. 

chin in his hand.  later when asked why he sat this way, he said because I couldn't see you :(

 

 

This little guy had a wonderful time!  You should hear him cheering for Jacob on the video we took when they called his name.  So precious!

So long Kindergarten!

Today feels so nostalgic.  Hard to believe Jacob has completed his very first year in school.

He immensly enjoyed it!!  He looked forward to every single day!  Even if he landed in the principal's office a couple of times. 

 

So we began the last morning of kindergarten the same way we started.

 

 

 

 

 

"What's all this, mommy?"  He asked.  :)

Hodge Podge Post

Exactly two weeks ago today, we received our first ever snow accumulation in the state for the month of May.  Just two days prior, Levi's little arms got red from being outside in the sun.  Crazy!

 

When it was time to pick up Jacob from the bus stop, this is how I dressed Levi.  In May, people!

Just when Chevron is over used, I bought my first chevron item.  And I had to have the little owl for our master bedroom makeover.
