So Long 1st Grade!

Last night I tucked in my first grader for the last time :(

 

In some ways, it feels as though he just started, and on the other hand we were ready for it to end!

 

Since we had snowmageddon this last winter, he had several days to make up which pushed the last day into June!  Sheesh! 

 

He had a wonderful teacher and learned so much!

 

 

 

 

Since she was on maternity leave at the beginning of the school year, I ran up there before the end of the day to snap a pic.  She was the sweetest, and she and Jacob clicked so well! 

 

He normally rides the bus home, but we left a little early and went to Duncan Donuts to celebrate.

We drive by it all the time, and he always asks if we can go.  So no better time than today!

why can't he always be this sweet?  :)
