Knee Surgery

I'm sure he wouldn't want me posting these pics, but I want to remember this season of life.

Both of my dad's knees are/were bone-to-bone!

To say he's been living in agony is an understatement!

Him driving a dump truck for 40+ years took a toll on them!

He retired last summer and the day finally came to have knee replacement surgery on the right leg.

Within moments of coming out of recovery, he was on his feet and walking!

It's been 4wks, recovery and physical therapy are getting better.

He's decided to wait a year before he does the left side.  

I can't wait for him to be pain free and bouncing off his feet!

Reading Tall Tales

Jacob's class were reading Tall Tales, so I ran up to his school to hear him read his.

He enjoyed 'performing' in front of others. :)

 He definitely isn't like his momma!

At his age, I would've been scared to death!

I'm so thankful he isn't shy!

Heart full of Love

Levi had his yearly Echo and EKG on his little big heart! 

The same technician has done all his Echos.

I wish I had a picture of our little 1week old baby laying there.

Levi has NEVER resisted.

He always lays perfectly still.  

Even at 1yr, 18mos, 2yrs and so on...

He never fussed!  Not too many toddlers would lay still, I bet.

I'm telling ya, Levi is the BEST!

Another healthy report!!!
Thank you Jesus!!  

The pressure inside his aortic valve is good and there's minimal leakage.

We are SO grateful!!!

Happy 2016!

That seems crazy!

Wasn't it just 1995?   :)

 For the last Razorback football game, they played in the Liberty Bowl and we had some friends over to watch.  And they won!  #wps 

This does not happen often!  I asked Levi if he wanted to cuddle and then he fell asleep on me!

I was in heaven!  Momma loves to cuddle!

This big kid will cuddle too sometimes.  But you won't catch him falling asleep ;)

Speaking of sleep...

For Scouts, Jacob had to build a 'genius kit' with a bunch of random objects.

He decided on a camping theme.
