Back to school

I found this cool website that allows you to see what you'd look like in high school back in the 50s-60s-70s-80s-90s. Here is what I would've looked like in 1984 and Kris in 1990. We got some good laughs from this. What's sad is I think I actually sported this hairdo at one point in my life. To see yourself, click here

Jacob loves bathtime. Every night he practically runs to the bathroom door with a big smile on his face, tonight was no exception.

Looking back

I love looking back at pictures of Jacob when he was younger, and so I thought I'd share one from a year ago and one from today. Where has the time gone?

Over Due...

Ok, so I'm not the best blogger, but I will try to catch up. Let's see... as you know, it was BBBBQ this past weekend, and I had the opportunity to be a biker chick for a night. I left Jacob with his dada and rode down to F'ville with my B-I-L, John. My cousin Amber and her husband were in town, and we all rode down together. It was a nice ride down, but quite a bit chilly coming home. I had a lot of fun, and almost had the itch to get my own bike (haha). Instead I think I will ride with John when I get an urge. Thanks John for letting me tag along.

Boo Boo...

I knew it was bound to happen... Jacob got his first boo boo today. He was walking along the sidewalk and tripped and fell onto his knees. Poor baby. It just broke my heart to see him in big 'ol tears. It actually just looks like a really bad rug burn. I probably made a bigger deal out of it than he did. So I kissed it and made it all better.

Getting closer...

So happy tomorrow is TGIF! Who doesn't enjoy the weekend? My dad will be coming up tomorrow to join my mom who got here last week. Neither one can stand to be away from their grandbabies. And I know the kiddos enjoy seeing their Meme and Papaw.

I can tell the seasons are changing - my allergies are in full swing. Do I turn off the air conditioner to enjoy a nice breeze coming through the windows - my nose votes no! Such an iffy time of year on how to get that perfect room temperature.

Kinda feel like Carrie Bradshaw as I type (hehe).
