Around here

I promise I had nothing to do with this... I have a box of keepsake cards, letters, etc... that is wrapped with this bow and Levi found it and put it on his head :)

I had The Today Show on the tv and they were showing a cat that had half a black face and half tan.
Levi saw it and wanted to hold it.  So cute :)

Jacob wanted to play Connect Four, well his version anyway :)

Which turned out to be a great fine-motor skill project for Levi :)

We met a new friend at the bus stop last week, Jane, who is also in kindergarten (different class than Jacob).
She and Jacob have been sitting together on the bus and they are so cute!  Each day after school they ask if the other can come over to play, so yesterday we had Jane over.

She is so sweet and she played soccer last year with my niece Kate.
In fact, she is in this post.

Misc. Monday

I hope you had a great weekend!

Yesterday morning while we were getting ready for church, Levi was playing with some of my bracelets and I told him to go show his daddy.  But before he did, I put a barrette in his hair :)

There was also a steady rain after church, so Jacob grabbed his new rain boots and the only raincoat we had on hand which was from a couple of years ago and went outside.
And he thought he needed goggles too!

Jacob completed his first week of kindergarten.

Not gonna lie, it started out rough, but everything quickly turned around and he loves it!

He's getting familiar with the structure of the classroom which has helped!

And he's loving the bus!!!  He's riding it in the morning, too, and I enjoy our walks to the bus stop.  

He sits with the cutest little girl who is also in kindergarten - so sweet!

Levi had 2 great days at his school this week.  

He brought home his very first piece of art and you know I kept it!

He is the sweetest little monkey!  And I love that he knows what to do when I grab the camera :)

County Fair

Saturday evening we attended the county fair.

Jacob wanted to ride the ferris wheel.

Levi's Turn!

Today was Levi's turn for school!

When I was working, he went to daycare twice a week, so today technically isn't his first day (ever), but we still recognized him. :)

He's attending the same pre-k that Jacob just finished.

It's called My Friends & Me.  I wasn't sure what to write on the chalkboard, so I just wrote that :)

I was bending down to take his picture, so that's exactly what he did :)

Another first

Today was another first!

Jacob rode the bus home from school!

1st Day of Kindergarten!

We hit a huge milestone today!  

Jacob entered kindergarten {sniff}.

And woke up this morning to...

Then it was outside for a new tradition - first day of school picture!

Meme came over bright and early to watch Levi for us so we wouldn't have to chase him at the school.
