Kris and I were married!!

It seems like yesterday, that flew by so fast!

I got ready at my house, and I'm so glad I had Beth's help.
Don't know what I would've done without her!  And my mom!

I loved my hair!!!  And there's actually some fake hair in that bun :)

My mom was about to make me cry!

when did she become a redhead?  LOL

I love this picture of me and my dad looking out the window waiting on the car to pick us up.

We rented a 1947 Lincoln convertible :)

We were married at the beautiful Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista.

It was a gorgeous day!!!

I look so nervous!!  

When I got to the end of the aisle, I saw this... TEARS!!

I was not expecting him to cry, so of course I couldn't let him cry alone ;)

The Chapel is tucked in a wooded area, very beautiful.

One of my absolute favorite pictures of the day!  Still gets me teary eyed when I see it.

This is my dear sweet Granny (my dad's mom).  She passed 2months before I had Jacob, and I know she would've loved both Jacob and Levi to pieces.  I wish they could've known her.  She would sit on the couch with me and Beth on either side and she would let us comb her hair when we were little.  :)  

That makes me laugh.

Army Crawl

As you can tell I have not been blogging much lately.

Our good Nikon camera went kaput.

Actually it's just the lens.  The zoom lens works, but can't take pictures inside the house with it.  

I'd have to stand across the street!  HA!  

And this couldn't have happened at a better time, right?

We leave for Chicago on Friday.  

Luckily my B-I-L is letting me borrow his extra lens.

So I'll treat you to a little video.
It just cracks me up that Levi crawls like this.
He has gotten up on all fours maybe 4 or 5 times, but this is primarily his way to crawl.  :)

Happy Mother's Day!

I've had a great Mother's Day!

My first with Levi, my little love!  

Kris let me sleep in this morning and he got up with our early risers.

Later, they brought this to me:

Jacob was so excited and was extra sweet to me.  I think he thought it was my birthday once he saw the gifts.

Kris definitely out did himself.  He got me a Kindle!!!  I'm so excited!

My sweet momma sent me a sweet card with a Chili's gift card inside. 

And the boys got me a Paul Deen candle, it smells like a pecan pie!! :)

On Friday when I picked Jacob up from daycare, he gave me this:

why they put a pink bow on there, i have no idea.  for me maybe?

I just love being their momma.  I love that I have 2 sweet boys.


I hope I always have Mommas Boys :)

Being their momma is the best thing ever!

And a extra big shout out to my mom, Meme!
She is kind enough to watch the boys next weekend while we're in Chicago.
She has such a big heart!

Weight Loss Challenge - Week 5

I'm in a rut.
My desire to exercise has just been non-existent.  I only did Shred once this week.

My food intake could have been better too.

I did maintain though.

No loss/no gain.  

0% total weight loss

I'm OK with that.  

I'm not trying to lose weight in a short window of time.

If it takes me a year to lose 40lbs then so be it.  

I won't lie though, I'm a little nervous because next week (13th) I leave for a 4day vacation to Chicago.  

Hello Chicago pizza, dawgs!?  

Hopefully we'll get a lot of walking in!

Smoke & Vows

Making Jacob some lunch and almost had to call the fire department.

Woo wee the house was so smokey!

Oopsy, forgot to add the water before placing in microwave for 3mins!!!  :)

Kris and I went to my coworkers wedding Saturday night.

Before we left, we took a picture and Jacob wanted to be in it too.  :)

It was such a sweet ceremony.  

They wanted to honor God and have the ceremony be about him and not them.

Their wedding party gathered around them after the vows to pray for them, which I thought was so sweet.

Then they took communion.  

I got a little teary eyed.  :)

Thank you Meme for watching the boys while we had a little date night.

Thomas & Friends

Yesterday Jacob woke up with what looked to me like Pink Eye.  Grrrrreat!!!

I called the doctor to get an appointment and sure enough it was confirmed he had it!

Giving him eye drops has been so FUN!

I wasn't sure if he should go see Thomas the Train, but he never complained once about his eye nor did he ever try to rub it.  After the first round of drops, I could tell a difference.  

We went to the show and told Beth beforehand to keep Kate and Luke away!

{it's in his right eye.  i can definitely tell an improvement}

They still managed to sit next to one another, but this was just during intermission.

Afterwards we took a few pictures outside.

Sadly, James did not make an appearance in the show.  

And ironically, Jacob was OK with that.  

sidenote:  I got a laugh out of all the parents who were on their cell phones (internet) during the show.

And I was one!  :)

Friday Randoms (spoiler alert)

*I'm so sad Casey was voted off American Idol.  He brought so much entertainment to the show.

He was so fun to watch!

I cannot believe Jacob is still there.  Him I just don't get...

*I am lovin' this season of Biggest Loser.  It's probably been my favorite.  

I cannot wait for next week's episode - the makeover.  I will be crying along with them!

Oh, and I definitely want to go to New Zealand now!!!  BEAUTIFUL!!

*Kris and I are going to a wedding this Saturday for one of my coworkers.

I couldn't tell you the last time I went to a wedding.  

My own maybe?  :)  

*Speaking of weddings, I want to see Something Borrowed.

I have a slight crush on John Krasinski.  Aka Jim from The Office.

*Why couldn't these been produced in the 80s when I didn't care about my weight!?!?!?!?

*I overheard Jacob telling Levi yesterday, "You're such a good baby."   :)  And I concur!!

Speaking of... 

I just love Levi in his birthday suit!

*Tonight we are taking Jacob, along with my sister and her bunch, to see:

Truth be told, James is actually his favorite train!

He has a slight obsession over him.

And I'm afraid James is not part of the show.  I hope he doesn't cry out for him!  :)

Oh, and see that number 5 on his car?  Yeah, Jacob is a little OCD about 5.  For example:

-When I give him wafers to eat he only wants 5.  Not four, not six.  Crazy!

-When I operate the microwave, his little voice asks, "did you press 5 mommy?"

-if I'm in a drive thru ordering he yells from the backseat...  NUMBER 5 MOMMY!!!  SAY FIVE!!

-on his FOURTH birthday, I placed a candle in the shape of a 4 on his cake.  According to Jacob he is FIVE!  That may have caused a slight melt down.  

All this to say... let's hope James decides to show up anyway!!

Weight Loss Challenge - Week 4

I will honestly admit I did not try hard at all this week.

Easter weekend at my moms surrounded by her cooking is temptation I tell ya!  

Also every night this week when I would normally do The Shred, I had a terrible headache.

Enough to make me want to go straight to be, in fact, that's what I did.
No Shred for me this week.

I'm sure the headaches are due to my eating.  I don't think I'm getting enough protein.

Also, I'm sure they're from caffeine withdrawls.  :)

But in my book, a loss is a loss.  I was down 0.2 from last Thursday.

Giving me a total percentage of weight loss of.... weight for it... (get it, weight not wait) :)

0.11%

I will take it!  

And I hope to do much better next week and get my head on straight!!

Easter Weekend Recap

As mentioned, we went to my parents house for Easter.

My mom bought a new swing set for the kiddos.

I was impressed with Kate on the monkey bars!

Look at sweet Lukie.  He's getting so big!

Had to get the infamous bath in the sink picture of Levi, then guess who wanted in! :)

Saturday we took the kids to an Easter egg hunt at my cousin's church

My cousin Shelby drove down from Memphis.  She was a hit with the kids :)

Sunday was also Beth and John's 7th wedding anniversary.  

They went out to eat together while we watched their monkeys.

As soon as I put Jacob and Levi in the bath, Lukie wanted in.

Oh, and Levi took over a 2hr nap after church so he missed the photo session.

When we woke up he was soaked in his Easter outfit.

I will have to 'stage' Easter photos for him sometime this week.
