Birthday Recap

Saturday was Luke's birthday party at Jump Zone.

It's filled with huge inflatables that kids (and adults) love.  

Jacob had only been 1 other time, but when I told him where we were going, he was immediately excited!

Now Jacob is a very cautious kid.  He is not a dare devil at all, so climbing up the large inflatables and sliding down really fast is a little scary.  

He got to the top of this one, which I thought was a big deal for him, but then didn't want to come down.

So Melody took one for the team, and went up there too.

Jacob isn't so sure...

... that wasn't so bad.

Summer Fun

Today we headed over to Beth's and their neighborhood pool.

I must admit, this was only Jacob's 2nd time in a swimming pool, so I wasn't sure how/what he'd do.

I had arm floaties for him, and he used an extra ring of Kate's.

He had a great time, and did really well.  The deepest part is only 5.5ft.

And Levi enjoyed his first time too!

Let's Catch Up

Just a few things going on around here....

Jacob was playing outside and clever Levi stood on his little couch to watch.

I did raise the blinds for him :)

We've brought out some of Jacob's toys that he played with when he was younger.

Levi has been enjoying them all.

This little monkey is also taking some long naps these days.

I had to wake him up today so he would sleep tonight!

He's been resting his little piggies on the high chair while he eats, I think it's so cute.

Saturday morning me and the boys met Beth, Kate and Luke at the Farmer's Market.

They had a little Artsy area for the kiddos.  They enjoyed playing in the sand.

Jacob LOVED this!  I could have left him there all day!

I might put one of these in our backyard.  It's just sand in a shallow storage container.  

"Mean momma won't let me play in the sand"  :(

So when we eat, Levi is like a little puppy dog and will 'beg' for a bite.  It was cute at first, but starting to get a tad old.
And yes, the boy has already ate!  When Jacob is eating, he will always ask me to get Levi.  

One day I had a bright idea, and Jacob loved it! :)

I laughed so hard!  Good times!

Splish Splash Park

Today we met Beth, Kate, Luke, Melody and Caleb at the Splash Park.  

Our first time, and Jacob had a blast.  

Aunt B was prepared and brought water guns.

Caleb (in yellow) looks like he's aiming straight at Jacob, so funny.

Lukie had a good time too!

Levi was so good.  He watched all the big kids.

Then we ended with a little picnic.  Good times!

the boys lately

He didn't know what to think at first, but then decided he liked it :)
So much that I went and got the video camera because he was giggling so much!

I've been trying to get him to use the walker more

I hope he's not a late walker like his brother!

Speaking of brother, I bought Jacob a hat since he always wants to wear Kris'.
I think it makes him look so much older :(

When my friends Sharon and Wayne were visiting from Florida, the boys easily took to them both.

What I'm Loving Wednesday

*I am loving my first week off from work!  :)

*I am loving that I can now do this with Jacob!

*I am loving my new 'House of 4' frame that I got from Sarah's blog.  You MUST check out her blog and her ever-so adorable son!!!  You will thank me ;)

*I am loving that I saved a ton of shows that I DVR'd to watch this summer while reruns are on.

*I am loving that I get a GNO with Beth and Melody to attend this event in a few short months!

*I am loving the thought of tackling new projects around the house!

*I am loving/wanting one of these!  A must try this summer indeed!
